Restoration · Vintage & heirloom
Watches that stopped decades ago, running again.
Sympathetic restoration of vintage, heirloom and luxury watches in Singapore. We preserve first, replace last, and never touch anything before you've approved the estimate.
Our philosophy
A restored watch should look its age — just cared for.
The fastest way to destroy a vintage watch's character is an over-polished case and a freshly reprinted dial. We take the slower road: stabilise the movement, conserve the dial, keep the original hands where they can be saved, and leave the case with the marks of a life worn.
Vintage watch repair often means making what no longer exists. Discontinued winding stems, click springs and canon pinions are turned on our lathe to the original dimensions. Every part we remove is returned to you in a labelled envelope.
Typical restorations run four to twelve weeks. You'll see photographs at each stage in the customer portal — and you can call the watchmaker who is doing the work.

Case study
A 1964 gold dress watch, nine weeks.
Seized movement, water-marked dial, snapped stem and a case scarred by a previous shop's pry marks.

Before
Stopped since 1998. Dial oxidised, crown missing, movement locked solid with dried lubricant.

After
Movement fully restored, dial conserved with its original warmth, period crown sourced, new hand-stitched strap. +4 seconds a day.
The process
How a restoration unfolds.
01
Assessment & condition report
The watch is opened, photographed inside and out, and the calibre identified. You receive a written report describing what is original, what has been replaced by someone else, and what has failed.
02
Conservation decisions — together
Do we keep the aged dial or refinish it? Polish the case or leave the honest wear? These are your decisions, not ours. Our default is always to preserve.
03
Movement restoration
Full strip-down, ultrasonic cleaning, corrosion treatment, mainspring and jewel replacement, and re-lubrication. Missing or obsolete parts are sourced from our vintage stock or turned in-house.
04
Case, crystal & final regulation
Period-correct crystal and crown fitted, case refinished conservatively, gaskets renewed, then five days on test and six-position regulation before it goes back on your wrist.
Questions
Vintage watch repair, answered.
Is my old watch worth restoring? If it matters to you, yes. We'll still tell you honestly when the cost outstrips both value and sentiment — several customers a month leave with their watch untouched and our advice for free.
Will you refinish the dial? Only if you ask. A refinished dial can halve the collector value of a vintage reference, so conservation is our default.
Can you find obsolete parts? We hold a deep vintage parts stock and work with suppliers in Switzerland and Japan. What can't be found is fabricated in-house.
Is my watch insured while with you? Every watch in our care is insured and stored in a safe overnight. High-value pieces are logged with photographs on intake.
